Today is random day. I’ve got a bunch of photos of Tom during the shooting of ‘Billy Jack’ that don’t all go together, other than being of Tom during the shooting of ‘Billy Jack’ (deja vu). So without further ado…
Tom (in white cowboy hat) directing the shoot out scene outside Santa Fe, New Mexico 1970.
Tom directing the night scenes (where Billy is holed up inside the church) outside Santa Fe, New Mexico 1970.

Tom directing TC Laughling and Debbie Schock while shooting the night scenes outside Santa Fe, New Mexico 1970.
Tom planning out the camera positions for when Billy is taken into custody at the end of 'Billy Jack'. The church is in the background.
Tom setting the shots for Billy and Jean emerging from the church at the end of 'Billy Jack'.
Tom contemplating during the shooting of the final sequence in the old church.
Can I just say how handsome he is!!!! I also love how you and your sisters comment to each other back and forth on the website. I would love to see pictures of the three of you now ,cause your childhood pictures are great!!
You may indeed declare Tom’s god-given gifts.
As for the commenting, this is a family-run website. No one else involved on any level. Frank, Chris, TC. Thanks for sharing.
like these photos too bad billy jack and company can’t visit up here. fighting for rights up here is a chore most of the time and whenever I get down about the whole process I watch the billy jack movies for inspiration. (too bad I don’t know those fighting moves…..)
Great Photos really takes you back. Billy Jack was so right for his time when things were so wrong.
Pretty cool.
Excellent photos, Frank. You made my day. THANK YOU!
