Some interesting notes about ‘Billy Jack Goes to Washington’:
It was produced by the son of the director of the original ‘Mr. Smith Goes to Washington’ starring Jimmy Stewart, Frank Capra, Jr.
Kathy Cronkite, daughter of famed TV newsman, Walter Cronkite, appeared in ‘Trial of Billy Jack’ and in ‘BJGW’.
Lucie Arnaz, daughter of Lucille Ball, had been on TV thousands of times, but had never acted in a movie before. ‘BJGW’ was her film debut.
Bill Wellman, Jr., is a long-time Laughlin family friend, and had appeared in most of Tom’s films, including his sensational turn as ‘Child’ in ‘Born Losers’.
The film was shot on location in Washington, D.C., at various locations around Los Angeles, and on the stages of the CBS studios on Radford in Studio City, CA.
I have no idea why TC (Teresa) isn’t wearing shoes.
