For those who weren’t there, it may be hard to comprehend how big Billy Jack was. As I explained in a previous post, by the end of 1973 Billy Jack was the highest grossing film of all time. It sold 58,000,000 tickets. It was beyond big, it was world dominating. This celebrity magazine cover is a testament to its success.
Tom and Delores rarely attended any Hollywood events, but on at least this occasion they were caught by paparazzi snaps, and the magazine thought it appropo to feature Tom and Charles Bronson as the Kings of Macho.
Do I really need to add anything? No.
